The crane will be available for works in Europe, speciaily in the Spanish market, where the demand is expected to grow in the next few months
GES has acquired a crane able to assemble the biggest wind turbines in the market. GES has also agreements with the main crane’s companies in the regions where the company is operating. This is a big advantage to offer a complete installation, a priority objective for the Spanish company. According to plan, the crane will start operating during the second half of the year.
The big adaptation capacity of the GES installation team can add value to new project working together with the customer to optimize the wind farm design, to reduce the road width to less than four meters for the crane transfer to the different positions.
GES returns to the crane business in Spain, after years with a big drop of the activity in this market. Alberto de Alfonso, Installation Business Unit Director says, “With this new service offer, GES becomes an integrator, capable of developing turnkey solutions including a wide scope: civil and electrical works, transport, cranes, and installation.”
