WORK PROGRESSING ON THE HUELVA 2020 PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT
Work continues on the 49.9 MWp photovoltaic plant that GES is building in Gibraleón (Huelva). Several works are currently being carried out simultaneously, including the assembly of solar modules and trackers, the trenches and the low and medium voltage ground laying, as well as the substation foundation. In the next few days the assembly of the combiner boxes, the connection of the solar modules, the electromechanical assembly and of the substation building, as well as the unloading and connection of the transformation centres will begin. The electromechanical works are expected to be completed during August.
The works of this first phase of the photovoltaic plant are scheduled for completion in December of this year. The second phase of the plant will be built during 2020, completing the almost 100 MWp that the plant will have at its completion.
