START OF WORKS OF A PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT IN SOUTHERN SPAIN
Huelva 2021 PV plant will have an installed power of 49 MW
The 23rd of June the fist stone of the photovoltaic plant Huelva 2021 was placed, marking the beginning of the works of construction of the project located in the city of Huelva. The plant will have an installed power of 49 mw and will generate yearly 100.000 MW, equivalent of consumption of energy of 28.000 households.
The plant, property of Alter Enersun, will have more than 110.000 photovoltaic panels and will take up more than 80 hectares, and will reduce CO2 emissions by 90000 tons per year.
GES be responsible for the works, construction of this plant that has begun this month and will finish during the first quarter of 2021. GES will be in charge of detailed engineering, the management of procurement of machinery and main equipments with the only exception of photovoltaic panels, inverters and transformer centers which will be carried out by Alter Enersun, and the construction of all the project facilities. Additionally, GES will be in charge of the management, integration and coordination of al the works and suppliers, consolidation its role as integral supplier of renewables.
