GESOM, MORE THAN A DECADE DEDICATED TO WIND MAINTENANCE IN MOROCCO
GESOM started its activity in Morocco more than ten years ago. It was in 2007 when the company entered the country with an eight technician team to maintain the first wind farm ever constructed in the country.
Since then, numbers have increased dramatically year by year. In 2009 the company doubled its numbers by including in the scope the biggest wind farm in the region at that time with 165 turbines and 140 MW. To face this demand the team doubled its size.
The pioneer position from GES in the country and the international experience were key to increase the MW under maintenance in Morocco. Nowadays GESOM is maintaining eight wind frams and four different turbine types in the country, which sums 838 MW in total.
