GES CELEBRATES 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF ISO 14001 CERTIFICATION
This year, GES has celebrated the 20th anniversary of obtaining ISO 14001 certification for environmental management.
In 2001, GES was certified for the first time for its environmental management system according to the international standard ISO 14001. This system allows the company to promote environmental protection and pollution prevention from the point of view of balance with the different socio-economic aspects positioning it as a socially responsible company.
Throughout the last 20 years, GES has demonstrated its efforts to reduce the environmental impact of its activities, whether in its projects or in its offices. Today, GES has 100% of its sites and activities certified by AENOR. The implementation of ISO 14001 has allowed GES to systematize the control of its environmental impacts, which has contributed to minimizing them, taking small steps in its commitment to sustainability and the reduction of its environmental footprint.
On the special occasion of this 20th anniversary, AENOR has awarded the corresponding certificate, which was collected by Ana María Nieves, Head of Quality and Environment at GES, and Adolfo González, QHSE Director.
