This is the recognition granted by the Basque Government to companies with the most advanced management practice and which look for an increase in their competitiveness.
GES has obtained the A Bronze of Advanced Management recognition, awarded by the Basque Government to those organizations that are more advanced in their management practices and that are looking to increase their competitiveness. The award was collected by Ana Maria Nieves, responsible of Quality at GES, on 13th December at Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao.
The Advanced Management Award recognizes organizations, companies, and educational institutions, with the most advanced management practices and which seek the balanced satisfaction of all their interest groups, including clients, employees, shareholders and the society in general.
GES began to implement the Advanced Management Model in 2018 as an element of improvement of the company’s management systems. The result of that implementation has been the awarding of this accreditation, which arrives after the external evaluation carried out by members of the EUSKALIT Evaluation Club. The award allows GES to join the Advanced Management Club of Euskadi
As Ana María Nieves, head of quality at GES, points out in this respect, “it has been three years of continuous improvement of our management systems, which have allowed us to improve the competitiveness of GES. The process we have undertaken has also enabled us to obtain the Advanced Management Diploma in 2019, another milestone in terms of competitiveness”. In this regard, the GES quality manager adds that “the origin of this recognition is to be found in the collaboration that GES launched with its client Siemens Gamesa in the cooperation project “Consolidation of the relationship with suppliers” in 2018. This collaboration enabled GES to gradually implement the Euskalit Advanced Management Model as an element of improvement of the management systems already in existence in the company and has allowed us to reach this point”.
