GES has been awarded the contract of the construction of the Calera plant in Torrijos (Toledo), of 19,79 MWp composed of 34 720 photovoltaic panels.
GES, a company of Grupo Industrial CL, that operates as a provider of engineering, construction and maintenance solutions for renewable energies, has been awarded the construction of a solar plant in Toledo (Spain) for Dunas Capital. The plant has a capacity of 19.79 MWp. The project has already started and will be commissioned in the third quarter of 2023.
In total, the plant will be composed of 34,720 panels of 570 Wp/unit and will cover an area of 58.8 Ha in Torrijos, Toledo. GES undertakes for this project an integral work that includes the design and engineering, the construction of the civil and electrical works, the supply of equipment and materials, commissioning, the necessary tests for the correct operation of the photovoltaic plants and the voltage step up substation, as well as the energisation process and the maintenance of the plant.
The plant will produce 42,590 MWh/year annually, equivalent to the annual consumption of around 13,000 homes in Spain and will avoid the emission of around 40,200 tonnes of CO2-eq over the same period.
